  2. Hub
  3. USB-C charging cable

Before connecting, download the app

Download our app and create your profile in order to see the data we gather.
The Moggie app is available for free for Android and iOS:

How to set up your device

Connect your activity tracker and hub using the Moggie app in 4 steps:

Plug in your devices

Plug in your hub to a power source using the USB-C cable provided. Make sure the activity tracker is charged and close by. The hub must be left connected at all times.

Connect hub to Wi-Fi

Follow the instructions on the app. Moggie works with Wi-Fi networks on 2.4Ghz frequency. Most modern routers allow you to create a secondary 2.4GHz network.

Connect the tracker

After connecting the hub, connect the activity tracker following the instructions on the app. The device ID is printed on the reverse of the activity tracker and shows in the app.

Attach to cat's collar

Attach the activity tracker to the cat's collar using the hook and loop strap provided. A full battery charge should last around 4 weeks. Repeat the last two steps for your other Moggie cats.

What do the lights mean?

Hub:

  1. Fast blinking = Factory reset
  2. Solid = Connected to the internet
  3. Solid, then dim = Device starting up
  4. Short blinking = Firmware upgrade in progress

Activity tracker:

  1. Slow breathing = Charging
  2. Solid = Charged
  3. None = If green dot shows on the cat's profile, the device is connected

What to do now

Now your devices are set up, sit back and relax while Moggie does the work! 🧶

You'll see input as of the next day, and your health dashboard will build up data and averages over the next three weeks. 📊
